
Banana cake recipe:
Ingredients:
– 3 ripe banana
– 2 cups of flour
– 1 cup of sugar
– 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
– 1/2 cup of milk
– 3 eggs
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder (soda)
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– a pinch of salt
For cream:
– 2 ripe banana
– 200 g of cream cheese
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Pre -heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Prepare a baking dish, lubricating it with oil or covering with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, soften the ripe bananas with a fork or use a blender to get a homogeneous mass.
3. Add eggs, vegetable oil, milk, sugar and vanilla extract into a bowl of banana. Beat all the ingredients thoroughly until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Pour dry ingredients into a bowl with liquid components and carefully mix until smooth dough without lumps.
5. Pour the dough into the prepared baking dish and evenly distribute it over the entire surface.
6. Put the shape with the dough in the preheated oven and bake the cake for about 45-50 minutes or until golden. To check readiness, insert a wooden skewer into the middle of the cake: if it comes out dry, then the cake is ready.
7. During baking, prepare the cream. In a bowl, soften ripe bananas and mix them with cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Beat the resulting cream well until a homogeneous consistency.
8. After the readiness of the cake, cool it on the lattice. Then remove the cake from the mold and completely cool.
9. Cut the cooled cake in half horizontally. Apply half the cooked cream to the lower part of the cake, then cover with the upper half.
10. Open, decorate the cake with pieces of fresh bananas or sprinkle with powdered sugar. The “banana” cake is ready to serve!
