Cake “Classic Crendel” (Classic Pretzel)

The recipe for the preparation of a classic condel (or also known as the Protezel) is what you need!
Ingredients:
– 500 g of wheat flour
– 10 g of dry yeast
– 1 tablespoon of sugar
– 1 teaspoon of salt
– 250 ml of warm water
– 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
– Water for deceiving
– gross salt or sea salt for sprinkling
Preparation steps:
1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt.
2. In another bowl, mix warm water with yeast and let them activate for 5 minutes.
3. Add activated yeast and vegetable oil to dry ingredients. Mix until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
4. Transfer the dough to the table pre-sprinkled with flour, and knead it for 5-7 minutes, until it becomes elastic and smooth.
5. Return the dough into a bowl, cover it with a clean towel and leave it in a warm place for about 1 hour, until the volume of the dough is doubled.
6. After approaching, divide the dough into equal portions and roll each of them into long ropes.
7. Fold the rope in the shape of the rollel – first form a “u” or a semicircle, and then cross the ends and attach them to the base of the rollel.
8. Prepare a large pot of water. Bring it to a boil and add prepared rolls to the water one or two at a time.
9. Compery rolls in boiling water for 30 seconds on each side. Then carefully remove them with a slotted spoon and put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
10. Sprinkle rolls with rough salt or sea salt to taste.
11. Heat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius and bake the rolls for 12-15 minutes until they get golden color.
12. Ready rolls cool on the grill, and then serve them warm or chilled.
