Recipe for making the cake “Classic Pie ‘Tropical Island'”:
Ingredients:
– 200 grams of cookies (approximately 18 crackers)
– 100 grams of butter (molten)
– 400 milliliters of canned pineapple in juice
– 200 grams of margarine (room temperature)
– 200 grams of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 300 grams of flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 200 grams of coconut chip
– 150 milliliters of cream (liquid)
– pineapple slices (for decoration)
– Kiwi (for decoration)
– mint leaves (for decoration)
Recipe description:
1. Grind the cookies in the crumb, add molten butter and mix well. Put the resulting mixture on the bottom of the baking unit (about 24 centimeters in size) and evenly tamp it.
2. Open canned pineapple and slightly dry the slices from the juice. Distribute pineapple slices on the surface of the cookie evenly.
3. In a large bowl, mix margarine and sugar until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Add eggs one at a time, whipping after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, mix flour and baking powder. Pass the dry mixture into a bowl with margarine and eggs, add vanilla extract and mix well until smooth dough.
5. Sprinkle coconut chips evenly on top of the dough and gently pour liquid cream.
6. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
7. After baking, leave the cake on a baking sheet. Then decorate it with pineapple slices, kiwi and mint leaves.
