Ingredients:
– For the biscuit:
– 200 g of dark chocolate
– 200 g of butter
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 200 g of flour
– 1 tsp baking powder
– For filling:
– 300 g of fresh strawberry berries
– 400 ml of whipped cream
– 2 tbsp. sugar powder
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– For decoration:
– Strawberry berries
– Chocolate shavings
Instructions:
1. Pre -heat the oven to 180 degrees. Cover the baking dish with a bottom and sides of parchment paper.
2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath or in a microwave. Let cool a little.
3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until a lush and homogeneous mass is obtained. Gradually add a tempered chocolate-oil syrup, continuing to whisk.
4. See the flour and baking powder through a sieve and carefully mix the mixture until smooth dough is formed.
5. Pour the dough into a prepared shape and align the surface. Put in a preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until cooked (check with a toothpick – if it comes out clean, then the biscuit is ready).
6. Leave the biscuit to cool in the uniform for about 10-15 minutes, then gently remove it from the shape and completely cool it on the grill.
7. At this time, prepare the filling: beat the whipped cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stable peaks are formed.
8. Wash the strawberry berries, clean and cut into small pieces.
9. Cut the finished biscuit horizontally in half to get two cakes. Lay half the whipped cream into the lower cake, then evenly distribute the strawberries through the cream.
10. Cover with the upper cake and lubricate the remaining cream from above and on the sides of the cake. Decorate with strawberry berries and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
