This cake is prepared quite simply, but to achieve the best result, it takes some time for preliminary preparation of dried fruits.
Ingredients:
– 250 g of a mixture of dried fruits (raisins, raisins of golden, prunes)
– 150 ml of strong tea
– 100 g of oil
– 100 g of brown sugar
– 2 eggs
– 150 g of flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
– 1/4 teaspoon of cloves
– a pinch of salt
Preparation:
1. Soak dried fruits in strong tea for 1 hour. Then throw it in a colander to remove excess fluid.
2. Pre -heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
3. In a large bowl, mix oil and brown sugar, add eggs and beat well.
4. Add flour, baking powder, spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove) and a pinch of salt in a mixture with butter and sugar. Mix thoroughly so that all the ingredients become homogeneous.
5. Add pre -soaked dried fruits to the dough and gently mix.
6. Pour the dough into a baking dish previously lubricated with oil or covered with parchment paper.
7. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until it becomes golden and the dough will not stick when passing into it with a knife.
8. After baking, cool the cake before serving.
