Ingredients:
– 300 g of wheat flour
– 1 egg
– 150 ml of warm water
– 60 g of butter (molten)
– 1 teaspoon of sugar
– A pinch of salt
– 4-5 large apples
– 100 g of ground nuts
– 50 g of dried fruits (raisins or crushed prunes)
– 2 tablespoons of honey
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
– Sugar powder for sprinkling
Instructions:
1. See the flour in a large bowl, add sugar and salt. Create a recess in the center and put an egg, molten oil and warm water there. Carefully knead the dough until a homogeneous consistency.
2. Transfer the dough to the table pre -sprinkled with flour, and knead it for about 10 minutes until it becomes elastic and smooth. Form a ball from the dough, wrap it in a film and leave it for 30-40 minutes at room temperature.
3. At this time, clean the apples from the peel and seeds, cut them into thin slices. Add honey, ground nuts, dried fruits and cinnamon (optional). Mix well so that all the ingredients are uniformly connected.
4. Divide the dough into two parts. Roll each part on a thin rectangle.
5. Distribute the filling with apples on the surface of each rectangle, leaving small fields along the edges. Then gently turn the rectangles of the dough into the rolls, pressing the edges.
6. Transfer the rolls to a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, and make several incisions on the upper surface for the removal of steam.
7. Bake the strip in a preheated oven to 180 degrees Celsius for 35-40 minutes or until golden.
