Continue to cook the cream for about 2-3 minutes, until it becomes thick enough. Then remove the pan from the heat and let the cream cool.
When the cream has cooled to room temperature, it can be used to decorate or layers in baking. To avoid the formation of the film on the surface of the cream, you can cover it with cling film, pressing it to the surface.
