
Jasper mint cake is a delightful festive dessert that combines delicate dough and refreshing the aroma of mint. To prepare this cake, you will need the following ingredients: flour – 500 g, oil – 100 g, sugar – 200 g, eggs – 4 pcs., Yeast – 20 g, milk – 200 ml, raisins – 150 g, 1 dining room zedra – 1 dining room spoon, mint extract – 1 teaspoon, sprinkling from mint sugar.
To get started, melt the oil and cool it to room temperature. In a large bowl, mix flour, half sugar and yeast. Then add whipped eggs, milk and cooled oil. Knead the dough thoroughly until it becomes elastic and will not be peeled off. Cover the bowl with a clean rag and leave the dough to rise for an hour.
While the dough is suitable, soak raisins in hot water and dry it. Add raisins, orange zest and mint extract to the approaching dough. Knead again well.
Now prepare the cake form for baking, lubricating it with oil and sprinkling with flour. Pour the dough into the mold, flatter the surface with a spoon and leave for 15 minutes for the final rise.
Pre -heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Bake a cake for about 40-45 minutes until it acquires a golden color and becomes elastic to the touch. Check your readiness by sticking a wooden skewer into it – if it comes out dry, the cake is ready.
Remove the finished cake from the mold and leave it completely cool. Then sprinkle it with mint sugar to give aroma and outer shine. Bon appetit!
