Prague jasper cake recipe:
Ingredients:
– 200 g of flour
– 200 g of butter
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder
– 200 ml of whipped cream
– 200 g of chocolate pasta
Preparation steps:
1. Beat eggs with sugar until lush mass is formed.
2. Add flour and baking powder, mix thoroughly.
3. Divide the resulting dough into two equal parts.
4. Add cocoa powder to one part and mix until a homogeneous color is obtained.
5. Pour light dough into a baking sheet and distribute it evenly.
6. Put a baking sheet in a heated up to 180 degrees (356 degrees f) oven for 10-15 minutes, until the dough is ready.
7. Repeat the process for dark dough, but reduce cooking time to 7-10 minutes.
8. After baking, put both cakes on the grate and let them cool.
9. Mix chocolate paste with whipped cream to make a homogeneous cream.
10. Put a light cake on a plate and apply half the cooked cream on it.
11. Cover the dark cake of the dark cake and repeat the procedure with the remaining cream.
12. Decorate the top of the cake as desired, using chocolate shavings or berries.
13. Leave the cake in the refrigerator for several hours for impregnation.
