Apple pie with caramel

Apple pie with caramel is a wonderful combination of air dough, juicy apples and sweet caramel. You will need the following ingredients: 3-4 large apples, 2 cups of flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 150 g of butter, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, a pinch of salt.
To get started, prepare the dough. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add chopped cold butter and mix thoroughly to make a tiny condition. Then add the eggs and knead a homogeneous dough. Leave him to rest in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
While the dough cools, prepare the filling. Peel the apples from the peel and seeds, cut them into thin slices or cubes. After that, fry the apples in a pan with a small amount of butter to softness and light golden tint. Then add 1/4 glasses of sugar and fry a little more so that the apples are covered with caramel. Let the filling cool.
Pre -heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Divide the dough into two parts – one will be the basis of the pie, and the other covers the filling. Lubricate the pie for the pie with vegetable oil or parchment paper and roll out the first half of the dough at the bottom and sides of the shape. Put a layer of apples with caramel on the dough.
Then cover the filling with the second half of the dough. Bake a pie in a preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, until it acquires a golden color from above. After baking, let the cake cool a little before serving.
As a result, you will get a fragrant and delicious apple pie with juicy pieces of fruit and sweet caramel. This dessert is ideal for tea drinking in cold weather or as an addition to coffee. Enjoy!
