Fruit mousse

Fruit mousse is a light and refreshing dessert dish that is perfect for summer hot days or as a final stroke after dinner. This recipe is easy to prepare and requires just a few ingredients.
To prepare fruit mousse, you will need the following ingredients: fresh fruits (you can use berries, mangoes, peaches or any other fruits you like), sugar to taste, low -fat yogurt or cottage cheese, gelatin and vanilla extract.
Let’s start with the preparation of a fruit base. Clean and cut the fruits into small pieces. If you use berries, leave a few whole for decoration. After that, add fruits to a blender or mixer and grind until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Pour the resulting mashed mass into a pan and put on medium heat. Add sugar to taste and heat until the sugar completely dissolves. Then remove from heat and let cool.
While the fruit base cools down, prepare gelatin. In a separate bowl, pour gelatin with cold water and let it swell for 5-10 minutes. Then heat it over low heat, constantly stirring to completely dissolve gelatin.
Add dissolved gelatin to a cooled fruit base and mix thoroughly. After that, add yogurt or cottage cheese and vanilla extract, mix all the ingredients together again.
Now you can pour fruit mousse into desserts or glasses. Put them in the refrigerator and leave them for several hours (preferably at night) so that the mousse froze and becomes thick.
When serving, decorate each portioned glass with fruit mousse fresh fruits, mint or chocolate chips. You can also add cream-chiz or whipped cream on top for additional tenderness and saturation of taste.
Fruit mousse is ready to serve! Enjoy this light and refreshing dessert that goes well with various fruits and creates the perfect completion of any lunch or dinner.
