Banana cake with caramel

A banana cake with caramel is a delightful treat that combines a delicate biscuit, layers of ripe bananas and a fragrant caramel. Here is the recipe for how to cook it.
Ingredients:
– 200 g of flour
– 150 g of sugar
– 100 g butter
– 3 eggs
– 2 ripe banana
– 200 ml of cream (liquids)
– 150 g of brown sugar
– 50 g of honey
– a pinch of salt
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Preparation:
1. Pre -heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Prepare a round shape (about 20 cm in diameter) – grease it with oil or cover it with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add soft butter and mix until the crumbs are formed.
3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with a whisk, then add the vanilla extract and puree bananas. Mix well.
4. Mix dry ingredients with an egg-banana mixture and gently mix until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
5. Pour the dough into the prepared shape and bake in a preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until cooked (check readiness with a wooden skewer – if it comes out dry, then the cake is ready).
6. While the cake cools down, prepare caramel sauce. In a saucepan, mix brown sugar, honey and cream over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
7. Remove the cooled cake from the mold and pour the caramel sauce. Additionally, you can decorate with pieces of fresh bananas or sprinkled with finely chopped nuts.
