Ingredients:
– 200 g of black chocolate
– 200 g of butter
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 150 g of flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder
– 200 g of fresh cranberries
– 200 ml of whipped cream
Preparation instructions:
1. Heat the oven to 180 ° C. Prepare a baking dish, grease it with oil or cover it with parchment paper.
2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath or in a microwave. Give the mixture to cool a little.
3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until lush mass is formed. Add melted chocolate and oil there, mix gently.
4. See the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder in a separate bowl. Gradually add dry ingredients to a mixture of chocolate, gently mixing.
5. Pour the dough into a prepared shape and bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes or until cooked. Check your readiness by inserting a wooden skewer into the middle of the cake – if it comes out clean, then the cake is ready.
6. Cool the cake in uniform, then transfer it to the wire grill for complete cooling.
7. Beat the whipped cream to the peaks and carefully mix with the cranberries.
8. Cut the cooled cake horizontally. Apply half the creamy cream to the bottom layer of the cake and gently cover with the top layer of the cake. Lubricate the top and side of the cake with the remaining cranberry cream.
9. Decorate the cake with chocolate chips or fresh cranberry as desired.
10. Put the cake in the refrigerator for several hours so that it is well saturated and gained shape.
