A chocolate cake with cranberry syrup is an exquisite combination of a rich chocolate taste and the brightness of cranberries. Here is a recipe to cook it yourself:
Ingredients:
– 200 g of dark chocolate
– 200 g of butter
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 150 g of flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon of soda
– 1/4 teaspoon of salt
– 200 ml of cranberry juice
– 100 g sugar for syrup
– 200 g of fresh cranberries
Instructions:
1. Heat the oven to 180 ° C. Prepare a round baking dish, grease it with oil and sprinkle with flour.
2. In a small bowl, melt dark chocolate in a water bath or in a microwave. Add butter and mix until smooth.
3. In a large bowl, beat sugar with eggs until a lush and homogeneous mixture is formed. Add molten chocolate and oil, continue to whip.
4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, soda and salt. After that, gradually add a dry mixture to a wet mixture of chocolate and eggs, mixing until a thick dough is formed.
5. Pour the dough into a prepared shape and bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake will come out clean.
6. While the cake cools down, prepare the cranberry syrup. In a small pan, mix cranberry juice and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar completely dissolves and the syrup does not thicken a little. Remove from heat and cool.
7. When the cake has completely cooled, remove it from the mold and transfer it to the dish for the feed. Top evenly distribute fresh cranberries, and then gently pour cranberry syrup.
8. Serve chocolate cake with cranberry syrup on the table and enjoy its rich chocolate taste, juiciness and refreshing curly sourness.
