
A chocolate cake with mint cream is a delightful combination of rich chocolate taste and fresh mint aroma. Here is a recipe that will allow you to prepare this incredibly delicious dessert.
Ingredients:
– 200 g of dark chocolate
– 200 g of butter
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 150 g of flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
For mint cream:
– 250 ml of cream
– 100 g of sugar powder
– 2 teaspoons of mint extract
– Green food paint (optional)
Preparation:
1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Prepare a baking dish, grease it with oil or cover it with parchment paper.
2. Melt the chocolate along with butter in a water bath or in a microwave.
3. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually add melted chocolate with butter and mix until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
4. In another bowl, mix flour with baking powder. Gradually add dry ingredients to liquid, constantly stirring until a smooth dough is formed.
5. Pour the dough into the prepared shape and bake in a preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake is dry.
6. Leave the cake to cool in shape, then transfer it to the grille for complete cooling.
7. Beat cream with powdered sugar until peaks are formed. Add mint extract and green food paint (optional) to give color and aroma.
8. Cut the cooled cake horizontally into two equal parts. Apply half the mint cream to the bottom layer of the cake, then cover it with a second layer of dough and apply the remaining cream from above.
9. Decorate the cake with chocolate crumbs, chocolate drops or mint leaves.
