Ingredients:
– 200 g of dark chocolate
– 150 g of butter
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 150 g of flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon of soda
– 1/4 teaspoon of salt
– 2 pears, peeled and chopped
For glaze:
– 100 g of dark chocolate
– 50 g butter
– 2 tablespoons
Instructions:
1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and prepare a baking dish, lubricating it with oil or using baking paper.
2. Melt dark chocolate and butter in a water bath or in a microwave. Give the mixture to cool a little.
3. In a large bowl, mix sugar and eggs until a smooth consistency is obtained. Gradually add melted chocolate with butter, continuing to whip.
4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, soda and salt. After that, gradually add a mixture of dry ingredients to the dough, gently mixing until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
5. Add chopped pears to the dough and carefully mix.
6. Pour the dough into a prepared baking form and smooth it.
7. Put the shape in the preheated oven and bake the cake for about 40-45 minutes, or until it becomes springy to the touch and golden from above.
8. Glaze cooking time: melt dark chocolate and butter in a water bath or in a microwave. After cooling, add sugar powder and mix thoroughly.
9. When the cake cools down, remove it from the mold and cool it completely. Then cover it with chocolate icing, evenly distribute it over the entire surface of the cake.
