Ingredients:
– 200 g of dark chocolate
– 200 g of butter
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 150 g of flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1 pinch of salt
– 200 g of caramel (you can use the finished or do it yourself)
– for decoration: chocolate shavings or cocoa powder
Instructions:
1. Heat the oven to 180 ° C. Prepare a round baking dish, grease it with oil or cover it with parchment paper.
2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath or in a microwave. Mix until a smooth mass is obtained.
3. In a large bowl, mix sugar and eggs. Beat them until a thick and lush mixture forms.
4. Add melted chocolate and oil to a bowl of eggs and sugar. Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
5. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the dough, constantly stirring until the ingredients are fully connected.
6. Pour half the dough into the prepared shape. Remove caramel into small pieces and evenly distribute them over the entire surface of the dough. Then gently pour the remaining dough.
7. Put the shape in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the cake becomes fried from above and dries inside. Check the readiness by inserting a wooden skewer into the center of the cake: it should go dry or with the traces of caramel, but not from the dough.
8. When the cake is ready, leave it to cool in shape, and then carefully transfer it to the tray. If desired, sprinkle with chocolate shavings or cocoa powder.
