
Recipe for the Classic Cake “Walnut Roulet”:
Ingredients:
– 6 eggs
– 200 g of sugar
– 150 g of nut flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 300 ml of whipped cream for filling
– 100 g of walnuts chopped
– Sugar powder for sprinkling
Instructions:
1. Heat the oven to 180 ° C and prepare a rectangular shape for baking, covering it with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until lush mass is formed. Add vanilla extract and mix.
3. Gradually add nut flour and baking powder through a sieve, gently mixing until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
4. Pour the dough into the prepared shape and evenly distribute it over the entire surface.
5. Put the shape in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden.
6. While the cake is being prepared, prepare the filling: beat the cream until a dense consistency is formed and add crushed walnuts.
7. When the cake is ready, turn it on a clean towel, removing parchment paper. With the help of a towel, carefully roll the cake into a roll and leave it for several minutes to cool.
8. Drive the roll and apply a uniform layer of filling cream and nuts over the entire surface of the cake.
9. Once again, carefully roll the cake into the roll, leaving the filling inside.
10. Sprinkle the cake with powder sugar and leave it in the refrigerator for several hours to solidify.
11. Cut the cake into pieces before serving and enjoy!
