
Cake “Classic Pie ‘Berry Mix'”:
Ingredients:
– 2 round puff cake
– 500 g of a mixture of berries (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries)
– 1/2 cup of sugar
– 2 tablespoons of starch
– 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
– 1 cup of whipped cream or liquid cream for decoration
Instructions:
1. Pre -heat the oven to 180 degrees S.
2. Take one layered cake and carefully cut it in half to get two thin cakes.
3. Place one of the cakes at the bottom of the round for baking, lifting it at the edges to create a side.
4. In a small pan, combine a mixture of berries, sugar, starch and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and begins to bubble. It usually takes about 5-7 minutes.
5. Remove from heat and give a berry filling to cool a bit.
6. Evenly distribute the berry filling on the layer of cake in shape, leaving the clean edge around.
7. Cover the filling with a second layer of cake and carefully press it to the edge of the form.
8. Using a fork, make several small punctures in the upper part of the cake to release a couple during baking.
9. Put the cake in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the upper cake becomes golden.
10. Cool the cake to room temperature, and then transfer it to the refrigerator for several hours so that it completely froze.
11. Before serving, decorate the cake with whipped cream or liquid drain. You can also add fresh berries for decoration.
