Ingredients:
– 1 pack (400 g) puff
– 4 eggs
– 500 ml of cream (with fat content of at least 30%)
– 100 g of sugar
– 1 vanilla stick or 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 50 g of sugar powder
Instructions:
1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Turn the puff pastry on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes until it becomes golden and crispy. Leave him to cool.
2. In a bowl, mix eggs, sugar and vanilla. Gradually add cream and mix until the mixture becomes homogeneous.
3. Warm the mixture over medium heat, constantly stirring until it thickens to the consistency of the cream. Do not bring to a boil.
4. Pour the resulting cream on a cooled dough and flatter it.
5. Put the cake in the oven, after reducing the temperature to 160 degrees Celsius, and bake for about 40-45 minutes until the cream hardens. Cool the cake to room temperature.
6. Sprinkle the surface of the cake with powdered sugar and evenly distribute it over the entire surface. Using a gas burner or grill, caramelize the powdered sugar until a golden layer is formed.
