
Cake “Classic Pie ‘Chocolate-raspberry Pie'”
Recipe description:
1. Prepare the chocolate dough, combining 2 cups of flour in a large bowl, 1/2 cups of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt. In a separate bowl, mix 1 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of soft butter and 2 eggs until a smooth consistency is obtained. Then add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and gradually intervene a dry mixture. Pour the dough into a pre-lubricated shape for a pie and bake at 180 ° C for about 25-30 minutes. Leave to cool.
2. While the pie cools down, prepare a raspberry cream. In a small pan, mix 1/4 cup of raspberry jam and 1/4 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, constantly stirring, until the jam is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and add 2 cups of fresh raspberries, gently fragmenting them in a cream. Cool at room temperature.
3. When the chocolate cake has completely cooled, apply a uniform layer of raspberry cream on top of it. Distribute the cream over the entire surface of the pie with a shoulder blade or back of the spoon.
4. For decoration, use fresh raspberries, chocolate chips or sprinkles. You can also add whipped cream to the top for additional decoration and taste.
5. Put the cake in the refrigerator for several hours or preferably for the night so that it is saturated and acquires a more intense taste.
