
The recipe for making a marzipan cake:
Ingredients:
– 250 g of marzipan
– 200 g of flour
– 200 g of butter
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 100 ml of milk
For cream:
– 400 g of marzipan
– 200 g of butter
– 200 g of sugar powder
– 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
Decor:
– Marzipan figures and colored sweets at will
Instructions:
1. Heat the oven to 180 ° C. Prepare a baking dish, grease it with oil or cover it with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, soften the oil and sugar, add the eggs and beat until smooth. Add marzipan and vanilla extract, continue to beat.
3. In a separate bowl, mix flour and baking powder. Gradually add a mixture of flour to the dough, alternating with milk. Mix until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
4. Pour the dough into the prepared shape and align the surface. Put in a preheated oven and bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until the cake becomes golden and the puncture with a hairpin comes out to be dry.
5. While the cake cools, prepare the cream. In a bowl, mix marzipan, butter, powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Beat to obtain a smooth and magnificent state.
6. When the cake has completely cooled, cut it in half horizontally. Apply half the cream to the lower layer of the cake and gently distribute on the surface. Put the top layer of the cake and evenly apply the remaining cream from above and on the sides.
7. Decorate the cake with marzipan figures and colored sweets as desired.
8. Cool the finished cake in the refrigerator for several hours so that the cream froze and the cake acquires a more saturated taste. After that, you can serve.
