
Cake “Oatmeal Pie”

Ingredients:
– 2 cups of oatmeal
– 1/2 cup of flour
– 1/2 cup of brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon of salt
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
– 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
– 2 apples peeled and sliced cubes
– 1/2 cup of apple puree
– 1/4 cup of honey
– 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. In pre -heated up to 180 degrees Celsius, prepare the baking sheet by lubricating it with oil or cover it with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger and clove.
3. Add chopped apples and mix well.
4. In another bowl, connect apple puree, honey, vegetable oil and vanilla extract.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to a mixture with wet ingredients and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
6. Pour the dough into the prepared baking sheet and level the surface.
7. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden color and readiness (check with a dry match, it should come out dry).
8. After preparing the cake, leave it on a baking sheet for at least 10 minutes, then move to the grille for complete cooling.
9. Serve the oatmeal pie with chopped pieces and enjoy!
