
Strudel is an exquisite cake with thin puff dough and juicy filling. You will need the following ingredients: 400 grams of puff pastry, 4 apples, 100 grams of raisins, 100 grams of ground nuts, 100 grams of crackers, 100 grams of butter, 100 grams of sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 egg for lubrication.
First, heat the oven to 180 degrees. Prepare the filling: clean and cut apples into thin strips. Mix them with raisins, hammer nuts, sugar and cinnamon. Leave aside.
Roll up the puff pastry on the table, grease it with half of the butter, and then sprinkle with crumbs of crackers. Distribute the filling evenly on the surface of the dough, leaving a small free border around.
Turn the dough with the filling into the roll, gently closing the filling. Transfer the resulting strudel to a baking sheet, greased with oil or covered with parchment paper. Make a few shallow incisions on top for uniform baking.
Beat the egg and lubricate the upper surface of the statel. This will give a cake golden crust. Put the strudel in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until golden.
When the strudel is ready, cool it a little before serving. Serve the cake warm, sprinkled with powdered sugar or serve with strawberry sauce and vanilla ice cream. Enjoy the magnificent combination of crisp dough and aromatic filling!
