For the preparation of the Three Chocolate cake, you will need the following ingredients:
– 200 g of dark chocolate
– 200 g of milk chocolate
– 200 g of white chocolate
– 250 g of oil
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 150 g of flour
– 1 tsp baking powder
– a pinch of salt
1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Prepare a round baking dish, grease it with oil or cover it with parchment paper.
2. Melt each type of chocolate separately in a water bath or in the microwave.
3. In a large bowl, mix oil and sugar, whipping them until a lush and homogeneous mass is obtained.
4. Gradually add eggs, continuing to whip. Add the melted dark chocolate and mix well.
5. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add a dry mixture to the liquid, gently mixing until smooth dough is obtained.
6. Divide the resulting dough into three equal parts. Add melted milk chocolate to one part, and white chocolate to the other. Mix each part thoroughly so that the ingredients are evenly distributed.
7. Pour the dark dough into a prepared baking dish. Then gently add the milk dough and finally, the white dough. If you want, you can use a fork or toothpick to easily create a marble pattern.
8. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until cooked. Check the readiness by inserting a wooden skewer into the middle of the cake – it should go dry or with a small number of crumbs.
9. After baking, cool the cake in the form, and then gently remove it and completely cool it on the grill.
10. If desired, you can decorate the cake with chocolate icing, cream or sprinkle with a cocoa powder on top.
