A chocolate cake with caramel is an exquisite treat that will amaze your guests with your rich chocolate taste and sweet caramel filling. Here is a detailed recipe that will help you prepare this magnificent dessert.
Ingredients:
– 200 g of dark chocolate
– 200 g of butter
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 150 g of flour
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon of salt
– 200 g caramels
For glaze:
– 150 g of dark chocolate
– 50 g butter
Instructions:
1. Pre -heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Prepare a baking dish, lubricating it with oil or covering with baking paper.
2. Melt dark chocolate and butter in a water bath or microwave to a smooth consistency. Give the mixture to cool a bit.
3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until a homogeneous mass is formed. Gradually add melted chocolate, stirring constantly.
4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. After that, carefully intervene a dry mixture in the dough with chocolate and eggs.
5. Pour half the dough into the prepared shape, and then evenly distribute caramel on the surface of the dough. Cover caramel with the remaining dough.
6. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the knife inserted into the middle of the cake is clean.
7. When the cake is ready, leave it on the cooling table in the form for 10-15 minutes. Then gently remove it from the mold and transfer it to the grill for complete cooling.
8. Prepare the glaze: Melt dark chocolate with butter in a water bath or in a microwave. Stir periodically to get smooth and brilliant icing.
9. Cover the cooled cake with glaze, letting it freeze slightly. Decorate the cake at will using chocolate chips or caramel pieces.
10. Keep a chocolate cake with caramel in the refrigerator before serving. Bon appetit!
