
Chocolate cupcake (Chocolate Muffin with Caramel)
Ingredients:
– 200 g of flour
– 40 g of cocoa powder
– 1 tsp baking powder
– ½ tsp soda
– ¼ tsp salt
– 100 g butter
– 150 g of sugar
– 2 eggs
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 180 ml of milk
– 100 g of chocolate caramel
Instructions:
1. Previously heat the oven to 180 ° C and prepare the cupcakes, linen them with paper molds or grease it with oil.
2. In a large bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, soda and salt. Leave aside for a while.
3. In another bowl with a mixer, beat the butter and sugar until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Add one egg one at one, whipping thoroughly after each addition. Then add the vanilla extract.
4. Gradually introduce dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with the addition of milk. Mix until smooth dough.
5. Cut the chocolate caramel into small pieces. Add them to the dough and gently mix.
6. Fill the molds for cupcakes with prepared dough by 2/3 of the volume.
7. Bake muffins in a preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they become elastic to the touch and a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cupcake will not go out with adhering dough.
8. After baking, cool the cupcakes in molds for 5 minutes, and then transfer them to the grille for complete cooling.
