Ingredients:
– 300 g of cottage cheese
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 150 g of flour
– 1 tsp baking powder
– 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
– 250 ml of cream
Instructions:
1. Heat the oven to 180 ° C. Prepare a round baking dish, lubricating it with oil or covering with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix cottage cheese and sugar until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Add eggs one at a time, whipping each carefully before adding the next.
3. See the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. Gradually add dry ingredients to a bowl with cottage cheese mixture, gently mixing until a homogeneous dough is formed. Add vanilla extract and mix thoroughly.
4. Pour the dough into the prepared baking shape and flatter the surface. Bake in a preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake is dry.
5. Leave the cake to cool in the form for 10-15 minutes, then carefully transfer it to the lattice for complete cooling.
6. Beat the cream until peaks are formed. Cut the cake horizontally into two parts. Put half the whipped cream evenly to the lower part, then cover the upper part of the cake. Decorate with the remaining whipped cream on top and on the sides of the cake.
