Egg rice pudding is a delicious and hearty dish that can be prepared for both breakfast and dessert. This dessert is characterized by a delicate texture and aromatic taste of rice, combined with eggs and milk.
To prepare egg pudding, you will need the following ingredients: 1/2 cup rice, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 glasses of milk, 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, a pinch of salt and a little cinnamon for decoration (optional).
Start by washing the rice under cold water until the water becomes transparent. Then put the rice in the pan, add sugar, a pinch of salt and 1.5 cup milk. Put the pan on medium heat and bring the contents to a boil. Then reduce the fire to a minimum, cover the pan with a lid and cook the rice for about 15-20 minutes, until it becomes soft and absorbs most of the milk.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with the remaining floor glass of milk and vanilla extract. Gradually add the resulting mixture to rice, constantly stirring so that the eggs are evenly distributed. Continue to cook the pudding for about 2-3 minutes over low heat so that the eggs are scrolling and the pudding thickens.
When the pudding is ready, put it in individual molds or one large shape. Let the pudding cool at room temperature, and then place it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours or until completely solidified.
When serving, you can sprinkle pudding with cinnamon for aroma and jewelry. Egg rice pudding can be served both warm and cold, depending on your preferences.
