A honey carrier is a classic Russian cake that is prepared from honey cakes with a boiled condensed cream. Here is a recipe for preparing this delicious dessert.
Ingredients:
– 250 g of butter
– 250 g of honey
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 1 teaspoon of soda
– 1 kg of flour
– 400 g of boiled condensed milk
– 500 ml of cream
Preparation:
1. Melt the butter and honey in a pan over low heat. Add sugar and mix well.
2. In a deep bowl, break the eggs and beat them until lush foam forms. Gradually add the honey mixture and continue to whip.
3. In a separate bowl, mix flour with soda. Gradually add a mixture of flour to the dough, kneading it until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
4. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts. Roll each part into a thin cake with a diameter of about 20 cm. Bake them at the oven heated to 180 degrees for 5-7 minutes, until the cakes become golden.
5. While the cakes are cooling, prepare the cream. Beat the cream until a dense consistency is formed. Add boiled condensed milk and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous cream is obtained.
6. Start collecting the cake. On the dish or plate, place the first cake, apply a layer of cream on it. Repeat this sequence for each cake until all cakes and cream end.
7. After the cake is assembled, take it into the refrigerator for several hours or at night so that the cakes are saturated with cream and become soft.
8. The finished cake can be decorated to your liking: sprinkle the honey with grated chocolate, nuts or berries.
That’s ready! Your delicious and fragrant honeycoper is ready to serve. Enjoy this classic Russian dessert with your family and friends!
