
Jashmovy cake is a magnificent Easter treat with a thin aroma and delicate taste. In this recipe, I will share with you step by step, how to cook this exquisite dessert.
Ingredients:
– 500 g of flour
– 250 ml of warm milk
– 150 g of butter
– 150 g of sugar
– 3 eggs
– 1 bag of dry yeast
– 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
– a pinch of salt
– 100 g of raisins
– 100 g of nuts (walnuts or almonds)
– 50 g of centers (orange or lemon)
– Sugar icing
– confectionery jewelry (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt. Add dry yeast and mix well.
2. In a separate bowl, break the eggs, add warm milk, vanilla extract and melted butter. Beat all the ingredients with a whisk until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
3. Gradually add a mixture with eggs and milk to a bowl of flour. Mix thoroughly until the soft dough forms.
4. Put the dough on the table sprinkled with flour, and start kneading it with your hands for about 10 minutes, while it becomes smooth and elastic.
5. Return the dough into a bowl, cover it with a clean rag or film for products and leave for about 2 hours, while the dough rises in size.
6. After raising the dough, add raisins, nuts and centers. Carefully knead so that the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the test.
7. Divide the dough into two parts and put each in a cake form or simply in the shape of bread, previously lubricated with oil and sprinkled with flour. Leave the dough for about 1 hour for the final rise.
8. Pre -heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Put the molds with the dough in the oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes until the cake acquires a golden color and becomes elastic to the touch.
9. Remove the cakes from the mold and let them cool completely on the grille.
10. After cooling, apply sugar glaze to the upper part of the Easter cakes and decorate them with confectionery jewelry to your taste.
