Recipe for cooking jasper balls:
Jasper balls are a delicious and original dish that can be prepared for a festive dinner or a special dinner with family and friends. These small balls consist of juicy filling wrapped in a thin layer of jasper dough. The following ingredients will be required to prepare jasper balls:
– 250 grams of flour
– 150 milliliters of warm water
– 300 grams of minced meat (you can use pork, beef or chicken breast)
– 1 onion, finely chopped
– salt and pepper to taste
– frying oil
To begin with, prepare the filling: in a pan over medium heat, heat a little oil and fry finely chopped onion until golden. Then add the minced meat and fry it until fully prepared. After that, season the minced meat with salt and pepper to taste. Leave the filling to cool.
Next, start preparing the dough. In a large bowl, mix flour and warm water, gradually kneading the dough until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Then divide the dough into small balls in size with a nut.
Take one ball of dough and put it on the work surface. Using rolling or a rolling pin, roll the ball into a thin circle with a diameter of about 8-10 centimeters.
Put a little filling in the center of each thin circle of dough. Then carefully fold the dough around the filling, forming a ball. Make sure the dough tightly closes the filling.
Repeat this procedure for other balls. Heat the pan with butter over medium heat. Fry jasper balls on both sides until golden.
Ready -made jasper balls can be served hot as the main dish or as a snack. They go well with various sauces or a vegetable side dish.
