Preparation:
1. Rinse jasper rice in cold water until the starch is completely removed. Then pour it with cold water and leave it for 30 minutes for preliminary soaking.
2. After soaking, drain the water and transfer the rice into the pan. Add milk, sugar, a pinch of salt and a vanilla stick cut in half. Heat over medium heat to a boil, then reduce the fire to a minimum and cook, stirring from time to time, about 20-25 minutes, or to the softness of rice and thickening milk sauce.
3. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl. Carefully add a hot rice mixture into the eggs, gradually pouring and mixing well so as not to roll the eggs.
4. Return the resulting mixture back to the pan and heat over medium heat, constantly stirring until the pudding thickens. It will take about 5-7 minutes.
5. Remove the pan from the heat and add butter, constantly stirring to evenly distribute it by pudding. If you wish, now you can add raisins.
6. Transfer jasper pudding into suitable portioned molds or one large shape. Let him cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for several hours for complete solidification.
7. When serving, sprinkle with sugar powder for decoration. Jasper pudding is best served.
