Pavlova cake is an exquisite dessert dish invented in honor of the famous Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova. It consists of crispy mereng, delicate cream and fresh fruits. Here is a detailed recipe for preparing this delicacy.
Ingredients:
– 4 eggs
– 200 g of sugar
– 1 teaspoon of vinegar
– 1 teaspoon of starch
– 250 ml of cream
– 2 tablespoons
– fresh fruits (for example, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi)
Instructions:
1. Heat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius. Cover the baking sheet of parchment paper.
2. Divide proteins and yolks from eggs. Beat the proteins into a dense foam, gradually adding sugar. Continue to beat until the mass becomes brilliant and dense.
3. Add vinegar and starch, mix gently. Put the resulting mass on a baking sheet in the form of a round base.
4. Put a baking sheet in the oven and bake the meringue for about 1 hour, until it becomes crispy and easily peel off from paper. Then turn off the oven and leave the meringue to cool inside.
5. Beat cream with powdered sugar until a dense cream is formed.
6. Gently turn over the cooled meringue to the tray for serving.
7. Pour the meringue with cream and decorate with fresh fruits.
8. Pavlova cake is ready! Serve it immediately so that the merenga does not lose the crispy texture.
