
The recipe for making a classic cake “Honey”:
Ingredients:
– 3 glasses of flour
– 1 teaspoon of soda
– 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon of ginger (optional)
– 250 grams of butter
– 1 cup of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 1 cup of honey
– 1 glass of sour cream
For cream:
– 500 g of sour cream
– 250 g of condensed milk
– 200 g of soft butter
Decoration:
– walnuts or chopped nuts at will
Preparation steps:
1. In a large bowl, mix flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon and ginger (if you use).
2. In another bowl, beat the oil and sugar until lush mass is formed.
3. Gradually add the eggs to the oil-sahar mixture and continue to whip.
4. Add honey and sour cream to the mixture with butter and eggs, mix thoroughly.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the liquid mixture and gently knead the dough.
6. Divide the dough into 8-10 servings. Roll each portion with a thin layer and cut circles of the same size (the use of shape or plate will help).
7. Bake each circle of dough in preheated to 180 degrees C (350 ° F) oven for about 8-10 minutes, until they become golden. Repeat this step for all portions of the dough.
8. To prepare the cream, beat the sour cream, condensed milk and soft oil to a smooth consistency.
9. Start collecting the cake, applying a generous portion of the cream on each layer of dough. Repeat this step for all layers.
10. After all the layers are collected, apply the remaining cream to the upper part and sides of the cake. Decorate with walnuts or chopped nuts, if you want.
11. Put the cake in the refrigerator for several hours (preferably at night) so that it is saturated.
