Truffle pie “Classic Pie ‘Truffle Pie” (Classic “Truffle Pie” pie)
Recipe description:
1. Prepare chocolate dough: mix 200 g of flour, 50 g of cocoa powder, 150 g of butter, 100 g of sugar and a pinch of salt. Pull the oil with dry ingredients to the state of the crumbs. Add egg yolk and knead the dough. Wrap it in a film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
2. The next step is the preparation of truffle filling: heat 250 ml of cream to a boil and mix with 300 g of crushed black chocolate. Mix until the chocolate completely dissolves. Add 2 tablespoons of cognac (optionally) for aroma and nuts to taste (for example, chopped hazelnuts or walnuts).
3. Heat the oven to 180 ° C. Divide the dough into two parts and roll one of them into the diameter of the mold for the pie. Put the dough in the shape and evenly distribute the truffle filling.
4. Roll out the remaining dough and make strips or blanks from it to decorate the pie. Put them on the top of the pie, creating the desired pattern.
5. Put the pie in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes until the cake becomes golden.
6. After baking, leave the pie to infuse in the form for about 10 minutes, then carefully transfer it to the grille for complete cooling.
7. Cake “Classic pie ‘Truffle pie'” is ready! Serve it at will with whipped cream or a ball of ice cream.
