The cake “Vanilla biscuit with chocolate icing” is a tasty and exquisite treat that can be prepared independently. Here is the recipe for how to cook it.
Biscuit ingredients:
– 200 g of flour
– 200 g of sugar
– 4 eggs
– 120 g of butter
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– a pinch of salt
Ingredients for chocolate glaze:
– 200 g of dark chocolate
– 100 g of cream
– 2 tablespoons of honey
– 50 g butter
Preparation steps:
1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Cover the baking dish with a diameter of about 20 cm with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt.
3. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until a lush and creamy texture is obtained.
4. Add one egg to a mixture of oil and sugar, whipping thoroughly. Repeat this step for the remaining eggs.
5. Add vanilla extract and gradually add a mixture of flour, baking powder and salt, mixing until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
6. Pour the dough into the prepared shape and bake in a preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuit becomes golden and springy to the touch.
7. After baking, cool the biscuit in the uniform for 10 minutes, then transfer it to the grill and completely cool it.
For cooking chocolate glaze:
1. Break dark chocolate into pieces and place them in a bowl.
2. In a small saucepan mix cream, honey and butter. Greze over medium heat until the mixture becomes hot and the oil does not melt.
3. Then pour a hot mixture into pieces of chocolate. Let it stand for a few minutes, then gently mix until the chocolate is melted and the icing becomes smooth and brilliant.
4. Gradually pour chocolate icing on a cooled biscuit, evenly distributing it over the entire surface.
5. Leave the cake at room temperature until the glaze is completely solidified.
