Yaruzhny pie

The Yaruzhny pie is a traditional Russian puff cookies that has a delicate taste and a beautiful look. To prepare this pie, the following ingredients will be required: flour (300 g), butter (200 g), egg (1 pc.), Sugar (100 g), salt (pinch), vanilla extract (if desired).
First, prepare puff pastry. In a large bowl, mix flour with salt and sugar. Add cold butter chopped into cubes. Pull the oil in the flour until large crumbs are obtained. Then we add a beaten egg and vanilla extract, and weat all the ingredients carefully until a homogeneous dough is formed. We form a ball from the dough and wrap it in a film. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes so that it froze a little.
After cooling the dough, we get it from the refrigerator and divide it into two equal parts. We roll one part on a layer of about 3-5 mm thick and lay it on the bottom of a rectangular oil greased for baking. We put the form in a village oven pre -heated to 180 degrees and bake the bottom of the pie until golden.
The second part of the divided dough is also rolled into a layer, which will correspond to the size of the form. This time, instead of laying a layer of dough to the bottom, we will put it in layers on the already prepared bottom. Lubricate each layer of dough with a small amount of butter so that the layers are well glued together. Before each new layer, sprinkle slightly with sugar and, if desired, add raisins, nuts or other fillings.
After all layers of the dough are collected, put the pie in the preheated oven and bake it until golden color, about 25-30 minutes.
We take out the finished furious pie from the oven and let it cool a little. Then we take out the pie from the mold and cut it into pieces.
Serve a lure pie on the table with a cup of fragrant tea or coffee to enjoy its unique taste and aroma. This pie can be a great addition to tea drinking or sweet snack during the day. Bon appetit!
